Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Phong Nha
Upon arrival in Phong Nha, you’ll be greeted by our friendly guide who will transfer you to your comfortable accommodation.
Take some time to settle in and unwind amidst the serene surroundings of this UNESCO-listed region.
Day 2: Discovering the caves
Early morning, we set off to explore the mystical Paradise Cave, known for its expansive chambers adorned with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Wander through this natural marvel, marveling at the intricate formations that have evolved over centuries.
After a delicious lunch featuring local specialties, we continue to the lesser-known Dark Cave. Equipped with headlamps, kayaks, and zip-lines, we embark on an exhilarating adventure.
Kayak across the emerald waters of the Chay River, then trek through the jungle to reach the entrance of Dark Cave. Inside, plunge into the cool waters and navigate through narrow passages filled with mud, a thrilling experience for the adventurous spirit.
Day 3: Ethereal beauty of Phong Nha
On our final day, we visit the ethereal Phong Nha Cave by traditional wooden boat. Glide along the Son River, admiring the limestone karsts towering above.
Enter the cave adorned with stunning stalactites, and learn about its cultural significance as a hideout during the Vietnam War.
After lunch, we say goodbye to Phong Nha as we transfer back to Dong Hoi, thinking about the memories of this enchanting journey through Vietnam’s hidden gems.
